Our story begins in the birthplace of

many a sad tale, planet Earth.

Our hero Gooner here, you see,

fled Earth 20 years ago, in the

year 2069.

After a near-successful try to overthrow the tyrannical Robo-Banker Conglomerate

that rules his home planet with an iron fist...

Gooner set his sights towards the stars.

The mundane ups and downs of Earth were no longer an interest to him. 

He'd go up.

even if it meant he'd break a hole

in the heavens.

Gooner looked up to the moon ever since a tadpole-- it only made sense.
